Mysterious Entertainment Music Group (MEMG) has dropped the fifth edition of the famous independent mixtape series Southern Riot V (SRV). Keeping with the tradition of the series, the project is hosted by no other than “The Hustler’s Choice” DJ Big Redd of Swisha House and CloverGeez (Lil Flip’s record label). For 2017 MEMG took it up a notch by featuring some of the best independent artists across the country and delivered a superior Hip Hop product to music fans worldwide. The CEO, O. “Dino” Domino teamed up with one of the hottest indie labels in Florida, C-Mobb Records to get their artist Pretty Tee on the club banger “No Problem”, currently playing on several radio stations. The lead single “All In” by Dino, produced by Drilla of Boss Beatz Productions, is also a crowd favorite and music fans should expect the music video to surface pretty soon.
This independent label jumped on the scene in 2009 and started the Southern Riot mixtape series in 2012 after working on several projects with the Swisha House DJ, DJ Big Redd. SRV is a little different than the first four volumes as this one aims to provide exposure to many independent artists from every part of the country to include 2Banguz from North Carolina, Jake Roush & Kontraban from California, Roze Roice from New York, Who Dat from South Carolina and many others. The project is sponsored by Rudeboy Clothing, Squad 1 DJs, and Boss Beatz Productions.
The lead singles “All In” by Dino and “No Problem” by Pretty Tee of C-Mobb Records is currently in heavy rotation on AK-47 Radio as well as other streaming radio stations and will be featured on NBC News Radio KCAA 106.5FM and 102.3FM December 20, 2017. Fans can expect to see upcoming reviews and articles in The Hype Magazine, Jamsphere Magazine, Urbanbridgez and more in the first quarter of 2018.
