Moreno Valley Councilwoman Carla Thornton service will be held Feb 5th-
The memorial is scheduled 10 a.m. at the Veterans Memorial in the Civic Center, located at 14177 Frederick St., Moreno Valley.
“Councilwoman Thornton was a dedicated public servant who cared deeply for the residents of her district and the City as a whole,” said Mayor Dr. Yxstian Gutierrez when he announced her passing. “Carla brought an incredible amount of enthusiasm, energy and real joy to her Council work, and she had so much more to contribute. This is a tremendous loss for Moreno Valley, and I will miss her as a colleague and as a friend.”
