R. Kelly’s Alleged Sexual Misconduct Focus of New BBC Documentary

Cali FM Radio

R. Kelly’s staff have resigned their employment coincidentally just prior to a BBC documentary due to air April 21 which is set to detail his alleged sexual assault acts in greater focus than ever before, as well as new allegations that the star recently infected a 19-year-old woman with an STD.

According to Rolling Stone, Kelly’s publicist, Trevian Kutti, wrote: “effective April 16, 2018, I no longer represent Mr. Robert Kelly.” Also, Linda Mensch, Kelly’s attorney released a statement saying, “I no longer represent R. Kelly. My resignation was unrelated to any allegations related to Mr. Kelly’s social life.”

It’s also rumored that a third member of the singer’s staff, Diana Copeland, his executive assistant for over a decade, also has resigned.

Kelly has a long history of allegations dating back to 1994: when he wed up-and-coming singer Aaliyah, who he had worked with on her debut album Age Ain’t Nothing but a Number. Aaliyah was just 15 at the time, but the marriage certificate falsely stated her age as 18. The marriage was annulled the same year, and both vowed to never speak about the relationship.

R Kelly: Sex, Girls, And Videotapes, will air internationally on BBC World News in the United States on Saturday, April 21 at 4:10 PM EST and Sunday, April 22 9:10 PM EST
